Can the vehicle recording system (VRS) continue to be used after a vehicle has been sold or deregistered?
In principle, the vehicle recording system (VRS) can also be used in other vehicles belonging to the same owner. The prerequisite for this is correct registration in the Online Service Desk (OSD). The OSD is the digital transaction portal that contains information about the installation, the assignment of the VRS to the vehicles and the respective status. Registered users are provided with corresponding usage instructions and restrictions in the Online Service Desk (OSD) in good time.

Do I have to register a vehicle owner with NATRAS AG or are there other options?
In addition to NATRAS AG as the commissioned National NETS Provider (NNA), other providers will be approved by the federal government - so-called Authorized NETS Providers (ZNA). It will also be possible for EETS providers to record journey data on Swiss roads, which is particularly interesting for vehicle owners who frequently drive on foreign roads, as they will only need one recording device.
